so we had a pretty awesome weekend here in london. as you know, chelsey and alexa came to visit from scottland! after about a 4 hour train ride, they arrived in london early afternoon. after an exciting reunion, we didnt waste anytime and headed out sight seeing. our first stop, harrods.
ok, biggest department store ive ever seen in my life.
they legit have everything.. just off the top of my head we walked through, perfume, grocery store, wine cellar, chocolate shop, toy kingdom, pet store, art museum, baby clothes (designer that is) and a chocolate bar. that was probably 1/5 of the whole place, absolutely insane.

the next morning we woke up bright and early to go all over london. we ended up going to buckingham palace for changing of the guards. of course lex and chels decide to come on one of the coldest weekends we've had so far, so we were freezing. we got there early to take the typical pictures and then to watch the changing of the guards (apparently its a whole long parade ordeal) well around 11:30 when it was supposed to begin we say this lovely sign...

this morning we woke up bright and early to bring the girls back to the train station, so they could head back to scottland, wah. the good news is that we will be visiting them in march, not to far away!
not much else to update from here. last night we finally booked our trip to paris, kinda exciting! we are leaving here march 25 and will be france until march 29th! we just need to find a place to stay... which as we know, will be an adventure on its own. next on the list to book -- scottland! our boys in italy also told us they will be visiting for their spring break, march 6th... so we're going to have a busy month!! SO EXCITEDD!!! =)
thats all for now.. thinkin of room photos for tomorrow. depends how the day goes...i mean i do have mondays off, but maybe we'll venture to a museum or something fancy.
