I am happy to report that today... i finally saw the sun, and its about time!
Given that a few of us have mondays of, we decided to venture out today and go to a museum. well that was a fail. not that we couldnt find it, we did. but once we arrived, we realized that this maybe have been the nicest, sunniest day we have had in a while... so we skipped the whole staying in doors thing. but we did go on a nice walk near the london bridge tube station.
when get got of the tube (or chube) we saw the borough market. we have heard about it before but never actually knew where it was so we strolled on over. unfortunately it is only open thursday, friday, saturday but it seems like a really cool market to stop by on a weekend.
right near the market we found an awesome little cathedral. since living in london, ive been fascinated with churches and the architecture of these buildings. it really puts into perspective how new everything is in the states. then again new is good for somethings ... such as bathrooms! (ill get into that later)

we continued our walk to the museum (when we were still planning on going) and explored the streets some more. i wish we lived in that area. there were alot of cute little restaurants and shops. we saw a few sweet shops with the most delicious looking desserts... yum! once we arrived at the tate modern museum, we decided not to go in. go figure. right outside of the museum was the millennium bridge over the thames river so we decided to stay out and enjoy the sunlight.

On the other side of the bridge, we ran into some more shops and restaurants, along with st. pauls cathedral. right be before we had walked over the bridge we were talking about how we wanted to go see it, and had no clue we were right next to it. i guess london is small than we thought.
