Another Day... Another Dawn

so not much to report on today. it was a down in the dumps kinda day.


ever wake up and thinking your home, and then realize your not? 


yeha, we thats what happened to me today. It happens to me when i move back and forth from school to home, but today it was a bit more intense.  I woke up thinking i was my cozy big bed safe at home with my daddy talking in the kitchen, then...things took a turn for the worst when i realized that my cozy bed turned into waking up alone, laying on a horrible spring poking mattress in the middle of london. and to top it off, the reassuring voice of my dad talking in the kitchen, turned into the house keeper and maintenance man yelling at the top of their lungs arguing in spanish. What a wonderful way to start off the day. 


After i chatted with my mom and brother, read up about the most recent news in RBK and heard the news about jacob's AWESOME basketball game last night, i got ready and met the girls. we just ventured around the area and tried to figure our way around. after we headed over to happy hour for 2-4-1 drink specials.


after we headed back to make taco's for dinner. yum yum yum. then decided to stay in and tonight with hopes of FINALLY catching up on sleep!!


after talking to my mom and my friends i felt alot better about being here. Everyone in a while it hits me that i am here for so long, and it really gets me down. i wish it wouldnt, i want to be excited to be here, but naturally a part of me wants to be home with my family and friends. once classes start on monday i have a feeling that everything is going to go by alot faster. and im crossing my fingers that at the end, i want to stay longer. thank god for my mom and my friend, without them... id be a basketcase.


tomorrow we're starting the day off with a run and then out for a day trip...some where.

P.S Shout-outs to my two favorite basketball players!! Jacob is playing another game as we speak, and i wish i could be there!
